HOW TO MAKE HAMBURGER SOUP

  1. Heat a medium-sized skillet at medium heat, and add garlic and onion. Sautee for 2 minutes.
  2. Add in fresh ground beef.
  3. Cooked meat until cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. Prepare your crockpot or large stock pot with all remaining ingredients EXCEPT the noodles. Set the crockpot to high or the large pot to low-medium.
  5. Once the meat is cooked add it to the crockpot or the stock pot.
  6. Leave the crockpot on high and cook for 3.5 hours and then add the noodles. If using a stock pot simmer the soup on low-medium heat for 1 hour. Add noodles and simmer for another 15 minutes, until noodles are tender.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2/3 cup elbow noodles
  • 1 1/4 tsp parsley, dried
