INGREDIENTS
- Egg: to help bind all the ingredients together.
- Milk: to add some moisture.
- Vanilla: for a little extra sweetness.
- Brown Sugar: for some added sweetness.
- Peanut Butter: creamy is best. I find natural peanut butter or nut butter to be a bit too runny.
- Oat Flour: you can easily make your own by using a blender, and blending gluten-free oats until they become a flour-like texture.
- Gluten-Free Flour: to help bind all of the ingredients together.
- Salt: to help balance out the sweetness of these peanut butter cookies.
- Chocolate Chips: to add some texture and sweetness.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat your air fryer for 2 minutes at a temperature of 360 F.
- While your air fryer is pre-heating, mix using a hand mixer, egg, milk, vanilla, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Mix in your peanut butter until well combined.
- Once combined, mix in your oat flour, gluten-free flour, and salt.
- Fold in your chocolate chips.
- Remove the air fryer basket, and grease the bottom of the basket with spray oil.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop up a portion of dough and add it to the greased air fryer basket. Getting approximately 4-6 cookie dough balls in the basket.
- Gently press each dough ball with a fork to create lines.
- Air fry cookies for 4-5 minutes at a temp of 350 F.
- Once the cookies are done, remove the basket from the air fryer and place the basket on a heat-safe surface.
- Allow the cookies to cool for 2-3 minutes before gently (using a small spatula) removing them from the basket to cool on a plate.
- Repeat steps 6-11 until all cookies are done.

- No chill time is required for this recipe. Given the consistency of the cookie dough, these cookies are best not chilled.
- These cookies are very delicate once they are done in the air fryer. When you are removing them from the air fryer, take your time. Give them 1-2 mins to cool before removing them from the hot air fryer.
- Be gentle when removing the cookies and allow them to cool for 15 minutes to make the cookies less crumbly while giving them time to firm up.
- Cookies, especially peanut butter, tend to harden as they cool. So keep that in mind when trying to modify cooking times with your air fryer.
- If you notice the batter is too thick add a little bit more milk. If you notice it is too runny, add a little more flour.
- Cooking times vary for air fryers depending on the model. So a quick rule of thumb, if your air fryer cookies are brown on the edges and if you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean, theyโre done!
- Make all cookies the same size and press cookies in the center with a fork so they cook evenly. I use a cookie scoop to ensure all cookies are the same size so they all cook evenly.
- Donโt move your cookies off of the air fryer rack right away or your cookies will crumble. Give them 1-2 mins to cool, then transfer to a cooling rack.
STORAGE TIPS
Once your cookies have cooled to room temperature, you can store them in an airtight container for 3-4 days to prevent them from drying out.

You can freeze air fryer peanut butter cookies. I like to freeze any extras I have on hand to grab for a quick snack.
I store my leftover cookies in a Ziploc bag, air removed (as best as I can), to maintain their freshness.
SUBSTITUTIONS
You can substitute the flour for regular flour or almond flour. When using another kind of flour, you may need a little more or a little less depending on the flour’s consistency.
