You can prepare this creamy homemade buffalo chicken dip ahead of time. Make the dip following all of the steps except the cooking of the dip. Once the dip is ready for the oven, cover it with press-n-seal and refrigerate for 2-3 days.

Allow the dip to come to room temperature for 1-2 hours before following the baking instructions to ensure that the dip heats through.

  • 4 Chicken breast, cooked and shredded OR 1 whole cooked rotisserie chicken shredded (approximently 4 1/2 cups of chicken)
  • 2 tbsp Jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup low-fat marble cheese, shredded
  • 1 block low-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Spray oil
  • Optional: Parsely for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Cook your chicken breast until well done, and juices run clear if you haven't done so already.
  3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix together using a hand mixer, cream cheese, and greek yogurt.
  4. Blend in your buffalo sauce, jalapeno, half of the shredded cheese, green onion, and parmesan cheese.
  5. Shred your chicken using two forks or a hand mixer, until finely shredded.
  6. Add your chicken and stir until well combined.
  7. Spray a rectangular baking dish with oil.
  8. Evenly layer in your dip mix using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  9. Top with remaining cheese and parsley for garnish.
  10. Bake on 350 F for 20-24 mins uncovered until the cheese has browned and the dip is bubbling.
